Your documents
PDF, DOCX, TXT and image files are read locally in your browser. Scan recognition runs on your device using language models served from this website. No scan or image is uploaded for recognition, and the recogniser does not save documents to browser storage. Pressing Translate sends only the extracted text and selected language codes through our Vercel server to Cloudflare Workers AI for translation. We do not intentionally save the document or its translation. Vercel and Cloudflare process request metadata to operate and protect the service.

Downloaded documents are stored wherever your browser saves files. Keep a copy of important work before leaving this page. We cannot recover documents for you.
Website analytics
We use our Know analytics service at know.am. Our local tracker sends the public page path, domain and a temporary anonymous identifier for this page visit. It may also report document import, export and completed translation events. It never sends filenames, document contents, signatures, text fields, URL query values or referrers. We do not load an external analytics script, read cookies or browser storage for tracking. Global Privacy Control and the website opt-out flag are respected.
Operational information
Hosting providers can process IP addresses and basic request information to deliver the site, detect abuse and troubleshoot failures. Translation requests are rate limited. Text is not included in our application logs.
